It's the most consistent, delightful, easy, insanely quick, uniquely NOLA comfort food ever, in my book. No matter the time of day or night, the quality remains unmatched. They've never messed up my order a single time, they send you an entirely full bag of stuffs (condiments, butter, syrup, utensils, napkins...), I mean, it's just the little touches like that, coupled with really shocking great food, a wide range of menu options, being open at the wild and crazy hours I finally decide to eat, and their excellent consistently prompt service that sets them apart. Speaking of tartar sauce, I ordered an extra one to be safe which was over a dollar. I guess technically I did get two portions of it, but it was packets. It's not as though I expected it to be made in-house, but I also wasn't expecting packets.
I ordered Malted Vinegar, which I didn't get, but the cost wasn't enough to bother asking for a credit. I made do with the lemon and pickle slices.
I love the restaurant this ghost kitchen is out of and their regular menu, which is why I decided to take a chance on it, even though the rating isn't great. I also love fish and chips and we don't have many options here. My mistake.
I think this restaurant would do better to stick to their menu. I'll just go back to ordering their actual fish plate with the choice of their great sides."
