"I ordered the teriyaki salmon bento box along with the gyoza. The gyoza wasn’t too bad, but unfortunately the salmon bento box was horrible. The salmon was severely overcooked—the top of the fish was so dry and tough it was very hard to chew. The tempura that came with it was soggy, and the California roll had no flavour at all. The rice was also very soggy. Overall, I would not recommend the salmon bento box. I'm not sure I would recommend this place as a go to place to have Japanese cuisine."

"When the udon soup mentions vegetables there is nothing but a couple slivers of white onion and some green onions. Everywhere else comes with at least some broccoli and carrots. Broth did not have the regular Japanese udon flavour it tasted like chemicals. By far the worst udon I have ever had. The vegetable sunomono is minuscule compared to other restaurants for the same price. I have an allergy to tuna and asked for the house roll no tuna, it still came with tuna so be careful if ordering with any allergies as they do not take your allergy into consideration. "

"It was my first time trying chicken Katsu and it was super delicious. The meat portions was huge! and the curry was thick, creamy, and well-made. I also liked the pickles and the shredded cabbage. I wish I could have gotten more of those as well :( "

"the portion size of the katsu seemed substantially smaller than previous times we have ordered as well as being more expensive. it was packaged in a way that the portion looked the same size. row of katsu strips being propped up by a single strip underneath run across the others instead of a double layer. it was a very disappointing surprise. I get it, with increasing costs of supplies, rent, etc. changes were going to happen, but increasing prices and basically halving the portion size seems a bit excessive."
