"Very surprised by this place. I ordered Chicharrones, not expecting much. But the box was HEAVY. Thinking it would be mostly sides like tostones; to my surprise, it was filled with a generous amount of perfectly well done chicharrones, and a generous amount of lime. You know it's the real deal when they give limes on the side.
Was surprisingly not a fan of the El Toro empanada, but that is not to deter others from trying. It was well cooked, had very hefty amounts of meat, and overall, up to par. I personally was just not a fan of the choice of spices, but can still see the appeal. "

"I forgot to take a photo of the food because it was so good that I was only thinking about enjoying it. The empanadas were medium-sized not too small, not too big but with plenty of filling. The seasoning on both the chicken and the shredded beef empanadas was spectacular.
The tequeños, although they had a different shape than usual, were absolutely delicious and filled with pure cheese *no tricks, not just dough.
I loved the fact that they don’t hold back on the sauce like other places do, and the tartar sauce is delicious.
