Always considered it as #1 Indian restaurant.
Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated over years. At one time we found metal wire in the seekh kabab we ordered from Santana row restaurant. The restaurant finally closed.
Today, we ordered food from Amber Milpitas.
Their butter chicken and seekh kababs are the best. We ordered bhuna gosht, butter chicken, garlic naan, and ras Malai.
The bhuna gosht had mutton pieces full of fat
Attached with the fatty smell. For a $25 forge this dish with five pieces of gosht is just ridiculous.
The garlic naan dough was less fermented, soggy
And half cooked. The ras Malai cake was not soaked in Malai - likely not boiled in Malai.
Paneer was hard to cut and not porous. Malai was very thick - likely made of condensed milk with
No cardamom and or any flavoring. No pistatio or any nuts.
Overall, a big disappointment. "
