"The doordasher delivered my food to the wrong apartment so that was the first sign that the food was going to be a disappointment. The Fish Platter (CATFISH SPECIAL) was not seasoned. The potato salad was to mustardy. The cabbage was not so great because it had sugar in it. For the price of the Cheesecake Strawberry it should have been bigger. This was my second time ordering from here and unfortunately it will be my last."

"In a city largely bereft of good deli options (1 or 2 at the most), the new Borscht Belt in Chestnut Hill is a welcome arrival. I hesitate to post a review only because I don’t want them to become swamped with business so quality declines and I can’t get what I need. The roast turkey, pastrami and corned beef are sublime, and getting the meat right is what a good NY deli is about. Even though the menu is a bit limited, it is clearly curated by the mind of someone who grew up with and knows what many of the required high points are to make a deli."

"The Pastrami Reuben/Rachel was okay at best. I just wish it looked like the advertised picture. l mean for $15.00, it could have had a little more meat. Also not enough mustard or Russian Dressing. I tried the Rachel version. I got carried away thinking it would be like Katz Deli or the 4th street Deli in South Philly. My bad l won't be making that mistake again."
