"My parents have lived in Center Moriches for almost 15 years now. They found this restaurant & pizzeria immediately, lots & lots of recommendations from the neighbors at the gated 55+ community where they bought a retirement home. I've honestly never heard a bad word about this eatery. IMHO, the ONLY bad thing is they're closed 2 days a week, Mon. & Tues. 🥺 You want a quick slice at lunch or a casual meal with your kids? You go to the right, the pizzeria side. Order there & sit in the pizza parlor or pick up your take-out order, pay & go. Would you rather have a nice, long, boozy, delicious dinner with friends or a romantic evening with a loved one? Then, you go in the left doors, the restaurant. It's beautifully decorated, dim ambient lighting, candles on the tables, big or small. Surprisingly, it's also rather private & quiet in the dining area, considering there is also a lively bar area at the back of the restaurant with a jukebox. I'm not 100% sure, but I think there are some small cafe tables, maybe booths, in the bar area for apps., snacks, those drunken noshes we've all craved, IF you drink, that is. Of course, most importantly though, the food is absolutely divine. It's definitely some of the BEST Italian food I've ever had the pleasure of indulging in. And, I've lived in the city, on & off, since the 1980's, when I was about 12yo. Spending decades living & eating in NYC, you get spoiled. Great food is on every block & around every corner! La Volpe is up there with my all-time favorites in Manhattan. La Volpe or Anton's pizza is a must try if you're in the area, you WILL NOT be disappointed!"

"The most authentic Italian pizza I have had on Long Island. Perfect thin base. Perfect tomato sauce. Perfect creamy mozzarella that wasn't too thickly applied. We ordered the Margherita Pizza with pepperoni and the Prosciutto Crudo E Rugola Pizza. Both authentic. Both delicious. Perfect size for one person and will be only ordering my pizza from La Volpe from now on. Belissima!"

"Seafood Lover's Platter I'm giving this dish 4.5 stars. The seafood used in this dish is super fresh. The amount of cooking and ingredients is almost perfection! The only thing I would say is to use a touch more basil. You can tell this dish is made by a real chef that knows excellent technique when cooking right down to the fresh sliced garlic. For $50 If this dish had 4 or 5 sea scallops and came with some fresh bread for dipping into the sauce I'd order this once a week and not need to try any other establishments. This restaurant is by far top notch! The large garlic knot was not good."

"I had the penne Carine which I thought was fantastic. My dinner guest had the lasagna, and there was not one complaint from that as well. The only thing that I didn't much care for is that the garlic knots were ice cold they should be hot nonetheless, it didn't take away from the experience that we had about either pasta dish suggestion to the chef and the owners make sure the garlic knots go out hard next time that's all I will order from your company again it was just fantastic. Thank you so much and an incredibly large portion."
