"5 Stars for the Chopped Cheese on garlic hero toasted and a bottled water (or a can of brisk iced tea /soda) , included in the price. I chose the cheddar cheese vs Anerican. Well made, fresh ground beef and they added mayo, lettuce, a unique hot sauce( orange sauce). This deli lets you pick your choice of cheese vs other delis that would charge more for just adding a different cheese. There prices are good for lunch specials. And they seal the bags in delivery. The Mandu Dumplings and Ramen Noodles are another favorite here.They made a great tuna melt sandwich and let me customize the sandwich adding minced toppings of veggies, carrots, ginger and herbs."

"Takeout order - ordered American * American Dream , Lobster Bisque , Boneless Short Rib , Mushroom Risotto , Spicy Crunchy Tuna Roll, Rock Shrimp Tempura, * Takayama , and Japanese Fried Rice / Udon/yaki Soba (with shrimp). Overally, very disappointing. The best thing was the Mushroom Risotto side - great depth of flavor, using forbidden rice was a very nice touch for that. Spicy Crunchy Tuna roll was just a spicy tuna roll - no crunch. Lobster Bisque was OK. Takayama roll was not good - was not crunchy and no jalapeño. American Dream roll also not as described. The fried rice was an absolute let down - dry, no flavor, and the tiny shrimp you get in cheap Chinese fried rice. Short rib was the biggest disappointment. Very nice piece, but lacking any flavor and needed more cook time - still tough and not a good mouth feel when chewing through. This place is new - but they do have another older location in commack - the food shouldn't be this poor. And those signature rolls? not going to cut it with what Moca is delivering in that regard just across the street. "

"Really upset about my poke bowl. It's not gluten free, and usually they are. It's not even really a poke bowl, honestly. It comes with "crunch" sprinkled all over, a totally unnecessary addition that makes this inedible and a waste of nearly $40. I tried to scoop out the affected parts but it's pretty much on everything. This is just so upsetting because a poke bowl is usually a safe option for somebody with a gluten allergy. In addition, it's not a very good poke bowl (period). It has crazy amounts of a mayo dressing and isn't focused on fresh, healthy ingredients like a poke bowl usually is. They just took their sushi ingredients and threw it on rice and added spicy mayo. This is Japanese-American fast food, NOT Hawaiian poke. A poke bowl is not the same thing as sushi but in another form, it's a different dish entirely (it's Hawaiian, not Japanese, for starters). The seaweed salad, the mayo sauce, and the unnecessary fried crunchy stuff makes this way less appetizing than an actual poke bowl. A poke bowl should feel fresh, light, and healthy. Unbelievably disappointing. The only thing I can commend is the portion size, which is appropriate even though the price is on the higher side of acceptable. I also ordered a spider hand roll. it was the first time having a hand roll, and I think I'll go back to the regular roll after that. "Best Green Tea Ice cream in Long Island. This is authentic Japanese Green Tea , a dark green tea color, the way it should be. They have had this ice cream for years. Other restaurants have a milk green tea look and taste and artificial. They don't give a lot of the ice cream, but the taste is great. They do decorate it, if you ask them. They gave me the fresh fruit , Japanese picky sticks, whipped cream and orchid flower, which is included in the price. Thank you:)"

The Avocado was fresh tasting, however the iceberg type lettuce and 2 small cherry tomatoes was very plain not really any flavor. I don't like iceberg lettuce and asked for mixed greens... but they didn't give it w order. I don't remember any shredded carrot just plain iceberg lettuce. The ginger dressing was watery, not any wow affect. I would order it again if they had mixed greens. They had spring rolls that were good on another order."
