If the carry out was this tasty with great presentation, I can only imagine the dining in quality. I had the Nachos Vallarta! I was in heaven with the delicious seafood (crab, shrimp, scallops) and cheese sauce. Generous portion, but not a bite was wasted. Husband had the New! Tacos Campechanos and immediately said it was better than El Toro (sorry El Toro! Still love your chicken chimi!) Cancun has gained our business when we are craving quality Mexican. "Big Tommy's Parthenon is our go-to choice for carry-out or delivery. When we dine in, the service is friendly and efficient. We have been going there for years because the food is so good. Peronally,I particularly enjoy their lima beans. Perhaps it may be odd to emphasize a side dish -- but this is so much more than simple lima beans. I can list three reasons. First, they aren huge -- quite literally the largest i have ever seen (and I travel the world over). Second, Big Tommy's Parthenon prepares them in a secret way (we asked) that has each bean nearly bursting with broth or some other liquid so that each bean bursts in your mouth. Finally, the portion size is substantial for a side (for the record here, though, I usually order Lima beans there for both of my side dishes). The menu is much more than Lima beans though! The Lamb is moist and falls off the bone. We have a member of the family who must eat gluten free and dairy-free. Her go-to order (saved in our Door Dash account ) is Chicken Filet -- which i tastier than the name suggests. The House Salad with chicken and the Big Tommy's creamy house dressing comes in a half-order and a full-order. The half is big enough for the entire meal of one person (and more). The full-order must be enormous (we've never ordered it). In short, portion size is substantial. As for dessert, both the Carrot Cake and Baclava are worth the calories for a splurge. "
