"I’m new to the area and wanted to get a real feel for this place, so I tried a solid cross section of the menu instead of just one item. I went with the burrito, quesadilla, pastelillo (basically a hot pocket), and the bread pudding. Short version: this place clearly cares about what they’re putting out. The burrito is a real, true burrito. This is something you’d make for yourself at home. The steak portions are generous and made up of real pieces of steak, not scraps or overcooked filler. The meat is cooked properly, seasoned well, and evenly distributed throughout the burrito. Every bite feels intentional. It doesn’t feel rushed, slapped together, or careless. It actually feels like whoever made it wanted you to enjoy it, which is rare these days. The quesadilla is right in line with that same level of quality. Again, very well-portioned on the protein. Plenty of steak, good melt on the cheese, and balanced so it’s satisfying without being greasy or sloppy. Simple food done correctly. The pastelillo was excellent.
