" Highly recommend the pumpernickel if you like that kind of bagel. The outside was shiny and crispy and the inside was pillowy soft. I got a lox bagel with extra veggie cream cheese and sliced onions. The portion of lox was decent (not too generous but not what I would consider skimpy) and the onions were super thin sliced like I like. And when you order “extra” cream cheese, you really do get it (which is my favorite). I also ordered 3 mini bagels to supplement my breakfasts during the week and I think I was sent full size bagels instead (not a complaint), so I look forward to trying the cinnamon raisin and everything bagels this week. I’m a Monmouth county local and until today I hadn’t tried this place before, but my local bagel shop has totally fallen off and is unreliable these days, and this is a great replacement. "So I'll start with the good. their fried rice is very good, as well as the egg rolls. With that said this kung pao chicken, was a Kung pow disaster in my book. The only vegetables were carrots and celery, oh and 3 pieces, yes I counted , of green pepper, and some peanuts were thrown on top. okay I can handle that, what bothered me the most is the chicken itself. It is tiny little deep fried morsels of chicken. but it's not even like a real bite of chicken it's more breading than anything. There were only a few that would equate to popcorn chicken size. And I don't know what spices they use, if any, but to me all it tasted like was that it was doused in hot sauce and not a very good hot sauce at that. I've had there general's chicken and it was good, so I'm hoping this is just an isolated incident."
