"Absolutely loved the food here! Food was hot when I picked it up. Portion was very good. I got the shrimp and whiting platter with cabbage and yams. Additionally, I got the yellow rice, corn bread and banana pudding. The seafood was well seasoned, not greasy, not dry, not over breaded. The jumbo shrimp was a plus for me-also well seasoned and lightly breaded. The platter came with 4 jumbo shrimp, 3-4 pieces of whiting. The yams were sweet and not overly sweet, not extra saucy which is another plus because most places that serve yams I've had, give you more sauce than yams. The cabbage was definitely steamed, with a bit of crunch to it which is great for gut health. Corn bread was excellent! Soft, moist and buttery, melt in your mouth! Yellow rice was not dry, not burned, and lightly seasoned. They gave a large portion of banana pudding which was even better! Fresh sweet bananas inside with Nilla wafers, very creamy. Everything was Perfectly made! Highly recommend to everyone."

"I hate writing reviews or complaining, but I specifically ordered from Deal Lake because their food is usually good & because of a Gluten-Free options (burger buns for this order). There were issues with all four dishes we ordered and it was so disappointing. The edges of the lettuce in casear salad were almost all brown and came without the grilled chicken (which cost extra). Dressing was bland. The pork chop came with the wrong vegetables (came w/asparagus instead of carrots) and the mashed potatoes were put under everything so they were super soggy & nowhere near as good as they have been in the past. The worst part may have been the bacon on the TWO Burgers on the DL we ordered. We specifically ordered dinner here for the Gluten-Free buns. The bacon on both burgers was severely uncooked & rubbery, it was actually stretchy. It all had to be taken off. Both orders came with French fries which were also cold. I know mistakes happen, I have worked in restaurants for years. So I feel bad even complaining. But to spend over $100 and receive what we did, was incredibly disappointing and we had been excited to try take out from here since the food is always good when dining in."

"The Chicken Parmigiana was absolutely Amazing! I'm in town from Wyoming and have been wanting some since I arrived! The entire experience surpassed my expectations immensely! I knew I picked a great spot when I walked in and there was a wait for a table. I walked over to the To Go stand and there was a lady being taken care of, so I waited patiently to the side, and when she got her food and walked away, the To Go waitress walked into the kitchen, when she returned a lady had came and cut me in line. She went to help the woman then quickly realized I had been there first and politely told the woman I was there first ( I know the woman saw me standing there because she looked back at me when she cut me) I told the waitress that if the woman was in such a rush, she could take care of her however she insisted that I was there first. Thank you for doing the right thing, and for the phenomenal experience!! Most definitely recommend!"
