The container was half empty, the chicken was dry and burnt, there was cucumber in it? and the bacon I paid for was missing, again. Unfortunately it was inedible this time around. I order Paella a lot. When it's put together properly ie. the chicken is fresh, the capsicum, onion, tomato is cut in to reasonable sized pieces and not huge uncooked chunks and the bacon if you add it is present, cooked properly (it does state crispy but I'd settle for cooked) and cut up, then it is great option and tasty. "I love this place. The Margherita pizza is really fresh with the most perfect, velvety tomato base I've had outside of Brooklyn, and luscious cheese. I recommend adding the buffala - if you're having pizza for dinner you may as well double down on the delicious. A lot of similar places around Perth look good but tend towards overcooking the pizzas so you end up with the wrong texture and unable to taste anything other than charcoal. The only negative with Il Locale is the type of pies they make don't travel that well. They get cold fast and with cooling comes that weird reversal when the dough becomes increasingly soggy and the cheese increasingly firm. I'm only 6 minutes from the restaurant and it's still a thing. I should get off my butt and go sit in the restaurant (totally offers good vibes) but when I just *can't* I am still delighted with my pizza even if the 'middle pizza zone' ingredients have all traded consistencies. The only reason I gave the Piggy a thumbs down is my partner said he didn't like the meat or soggy middle. To which I say he should have ordered a Margherita and appreciated that he doesn't have to get off the couch. You can't please everyone. But I'm delighted he's being precious - more leftovers for me. "Spaghetti Alla Gamberi Aglio Olio was so bad. It's basically spaghetti noodles poorly tossed in few drops of oil. So dry and so bland. Can barely taste any garlic. I think they ran out of sauce when making this batch. It literally tastes like boiled noodles with no seasonings. Pizza Jojo literally tastes like pork lard. 3 items costs 70 dollars . Better off buying a happy meal at Maccas. I know that will taste better than this stuff. M never ever ordering from here again."

"Fortune Five is by far my most favourite restaurant. I only tried their pork and century egg porridge and seafood porridge for the first time about 2 years ago and their chicken feet and Steamed pork ribs and omg they are sooo tasty! I would have gone a lifetime with never knowing how good those dishes are (especiall chicken feet which i would have balked at when i was younger) if it hadnt been for my lovely Philipino future daughter in law! I thought I'd try those dishes at quite a few other restaurants but NO-ONE comes even remotely close to those particular dishes in taste and value for money!! I usually try one other dish on their menu and it's ALL ALWAYS consistently good! I now order enough to freeze and defrost to eat every night of the week and rarely have something different. When I run out I order again and AGAIN IT'S ALL SOOOO GOOD!!! I can't thank you enough!"

"I used to order from here every 3 or 4 weeks and stock up enough to eat my favourite restaurants food most nights until I ran out and had to order more. It was ALWAYS REALLY tasty and good value for money. Everyone seems to blame Covid but the prices have gone up and the quality and lack of previous ingredients gone down 😔 Very sad because it was my absolute favourite restaurant and I encouraged a LOT of friends and acquaintances to go there. But, my last 4 orders have been pretty mediocre (the time before last there was I piece of squid and one prawn in my usual seafood porridge... Which used to have scallops, and prawn and lots of fish and squid. I tried one last time tonight in the hope it was better but the prices had gone up more and there was meagre seafood in the "combination Special Combination Seafood Porridge"... To call the dish that is just wrong because you need a combination of seafood to name it!!! So sad. Looking for a new favourite now."
