"I'm a local. I honestly can't understand the exceptionally positive reviews. We've tried this multiple times. Almost unbelievably skimpy ingredients. The cheapest distribution of cheese I've ever seen. Overpriced. Not good. Supremely overrated. I won't say it's some of the worst pizza we've had, but this is not good. It gets a 1 star because of the distance between how it bills itself vs the reality. Anybody seriously expecting gourmet is in for a surprise. This isn't the worst pizza we've had, but it's the worst pizza we've had from a business advertising itself as "gourmet" and that charges anywhere close to these prices. We honestly can't believe how bad this place is. Seriously substandard pizza relative to marketing and price . "Heart" isn't the word the comes to mind when I read their business name--yeah, it's that bad. I wouldn't eat one of their pizzas if it came free, taped with a $20 bill. One of the worst reversals--expectation vs reality--we've ever seen "

" 8/13/24: New to the area I decided to order from Subway (190 Country Club Gate, Pacific Grove} and it’s really close to me. Today I ordered the #1 Philly {Toasted Artisan Bread 6”, 2x American cheese,green peppers, red onion 🧅, and Regular Mayonnaise} with a 20 oz Coca Cola and Lays Chips. Order arrives and the bag was really skinny and I asked the Driver {Tania} who was fantastic followed instructions as listed and even called 👍😀 5 Star delivery. I asked about my soda and she said it’s in the bag with the sandwich and the soda. I open the bag and the sandwich for the #1 Philly was TINY, not small but it even appeared to be less than 6” and I asked myself where’s the beef? Full of other ingredients but really STINGY on the 🥩 😩. Definitely not worth $21.08 for this meal. A-1 service from Tania but 2 star rating for Subway for this particular sandwich. Won’t be order this particular Sandwich again👎🏻"
