"This review is for takeout; I have yet to have enough time in my schedule to sit inside the space, which does look fun and inviting. I love their concept and the few times I've taken out here, I've never been disappointed. The flavors of all the dishes are very nice, focusing mostly on the Indian items. Samosas are a little smaller than you'd typically find elsewhere but have a nice phyllo crunch when fresh. The veggie samosas are a bit more tart than typical Indian dishes in America. The sauces are all great; I love tamarind always, and the sauce that comes with the Korma Deviled Eggs, which I loved more than I thought I would, looked like it would be spicy but it had a very mild and nice flavor. If you get the deviled eggs with shrimp, be aware they're crunchy-fried nicely but the shrimp still have the shell and legs on, to add some crunch to your culinary adventure. The Veggie Curry Flight and Protein Curry Flight are both lovely! Though this time it seemed the Dal Tarka (which I was looking forward to) was subbed for Butter Paneer. Paneer was delicious, but we already had Saag Paneer included in the flight. Hopefully it's back as advertised for next time, which there definitely will be, since there are plenty of other items on their menu which I'm looking forward to trying. "

My 100% Afghani partner who came to the states from Afghanistan back in 2022 was at a truck stop resting in between trips and he was in the mood for Real Authentic Afghanistan food just like home.
The Kabuli pulao was excellent, he said the meat was fresh. This satisfied him and was authentic and approved.
(If you're new to Afghani food, your first try should always be the Kabuli Pulao, as that is Afghanistans national dish!)
The Naan was also perfect, he said it was "really good naan" - another approval!
Now he didn't order anything else, so we don't know how the rest of the food tastes, but if they got the Kabuli Pulao right then it deserves a 5 star rating !
The food came with salat (fresh veggies) on the side to crunch on between bites which gives to refreshness .
Portion was standard for Kabuli Pulao which is A Lot in my opinion. 2 people could share one portion if they wanted to.

"I will try to review each item. But overall as a foodie who likes to Resturant hop mostly remotely and dine in on occasion or if I hear good reviews, especially considering comfortable seating. But otherwise I stick to dining at home.

Halwa was good but a solid 2 rating for this specific item because the taste of item dish as whole a 7 out of 10 at best. Cholay were watery, Ali tamari cut not how traditional Ali tarkari cuts are taste acceptable. Poor size was acceptable but not traditional poori taste, I'm guessing they chose a not so good quality ata (flour) to make the roti), it was still oily like how pooris are u healthy as hell but usually the taste is accepted by eater however taste was bland.
