Then when I ate the damn sandwich, I didn't really taste the meat either, I just got a mouthful of soggy bread with lettuce and too much mayo. I don't blame the delivery person at all, not her fault. I don't even know if it was the sandwich preparer's fault (or maybe it was). Perhaps the food service employees are instructed to go skimpy, I don't know. I just know paying that much for a bunch of bread and lettuce isn't satisfactory. I don't know whether they used dry-brine or wet-brine technique, but my order was so overly salty as to be practically inedible. I like salt, and I don't have to limit myself to low salt food; but this chicken was so overly salty that I just wanted to say "GAAACK" after tasting it. I threw most of it in the garbage. If KFC corporate thinks this kind of food is acceptable, that's their business; but I am done. I won't pay KFC prices for food like that. Dreadful."
