I spent nearly 20 mins browsing various menus to find a unique French toast for my Sunday morning. I'm not sure if its the delivery method, or the actual recipe that failed . It was quite bland, a little cinnamon flavor but not tres leches. Also ciabatta doesn't seem to work well for French toast, because the toast was dry internally, hadn't absorbed the egg mixture. Lastly I'm being nitpicky but the strawberries were cut into wedges but still have the leaves on. The point of cutting strawberries as toppings is for ease...it eliminates the point of ease if I have to cut the stems off already cut berries. "I've tried a bunch of the sandwiches here. My favorite is the Hill Street, but make sure to double the slaw. The size on the pork chop can vary, but it can be quite big, which is really satisfying. But that makes it all a bit dry and means it needs more flavor so definitely double the slaw. FYI, they will do custom adjustments, just call them before completing your order on DoorDash. As for other sandwiches, the Normandie and Olympic sandwiches are also great and definitely worth trying. Just wonderful flavor combinations. The Mariposa does exactly what they promise and tastes 100% like al pastor, but really it just made me want to get some al pastor tacos instead. Al pastor just is much more a taco thing than a sandwich and Open Market is too good at coming up with unique flavor blends to just get something that imitates what you can find everywhere. That said, they totally nail it so if you want a vegetarian al pastor sandwich, go for it! I don't recommend the Alhambra - just was bland. Go with the more flavorful options."

"The Allo Scoglio is amazing! I order it most of the time. I get the white sauce option with angel hair. Just the right amount of garlic and perfect ratio of seafood! My daughter always gets the Vodka Sauce Pasta dish and it is delicious. If im not ordering the Allo Scoglio this is one of the options I get. The Parmigiana Chicken is what my daughter's boyfriend gets all the time. He doesn't care for their mashed potatoes or the broccoli and zuchini. It's really bland and I agree. I think you can substitute for pasta but thats if you dine in. They have really great specials that vary too. One time they had freshly caught Branzino fish and it was to die for!! Perfect filet with skin on and sautéed to perfection. So perfect and deliste no fishiness and skin was edible and crispy. Dessert is a must...any of them! "
