It's not made to be eaten in one bite as intended for nigiri and, because it's so big, there's a LOT of rice underneath. This wouldn't be bad if it didn't have such a strong rice vinegar taste to the point it overpowers the fish instead of balancing it. I love this restaurant, but the nigiri definitely needs to be portioned smaller with the same number of pieces in a meal. Smaller pieces of fish and portions of seasoned rice would probably make this the number sushi restaurant on the west side of the coast. Yes, I would order again, but would definitely request smaller cuts. 🙂"

"My first experience was the crabcake Poboy, which was OK and that's what earned them a second trip. Today I brought my wife along with me and we wanted to try their seafood sampler plate. The fish was soggy. The shrimp were rubbery and overcooked. The onion rings were cold, and the oysters was OK. For the amount of money that I paid for that plate I was expecting something far better than what I had experienced today simply because the crabcake Poboy was about a 7.5 maybe a 6.5 out of 10, but you can't win them all my overall experience today I would have to say was a 4.5. It'll probably be a long time if I ever go there again. I wish I would've taken a picture of the soggy fish and the overcooked shrimp before I threw it in the trash."
