Usually, the batter is all soft and soggy before it arrives.... but these remained C-R-I-S-P-Y!!! Every bite had an amazing crunch... no soggy batter anywhere. Kudos for that! The quality of the haddock was great... no fatty deposits you can often find in subpar pieces. Every bite was light and flaky. The oil it was cooked in was incredibly clean; so both the smell and taste were on point. Can't wait to share this spot with the man. "I have ordered from Carson's in past as one of my friends worked with the owners girlfriend. SO disappointed. The SMALLEST large pizza I have come across. I ordered double cheese and I was lucky if it had regular cheese. Toppings were scarce (and they aren't cheap as well). The "house-made" mozzarella sticks were definitely not handmade and were terrible. Even the dipping sauce was bad. It is very expensive so I won't be ordering again. Carson's was good when it opened but has moved to mediocre at best in a few years. :("
