"Absolute boof. Not even in the same universe as the Oakland location. Hands down the worst plate of barbecue I’ve had since moving out west from the Southeast 20 years ago—and that’s saying something. Wildly overpriced for what tasted like reheated cafeteria rejects. The ribs? Cold, tough, and completely devoid of smoke—might as well have been boiled. The mac and cheese and green beans had serious “day-old hot bar” energy, and not in a nostalgic way. The link was dry, sad, and past its prime. The brisket? Pretty sure it was yesterday’s scraps dressed up for today’s menu. The only highlight? A bottled Sprite. And let’s be honest—that’s just carbonated water and nostalgia. You really have to try to mess that up."
