"Shocklngly Delicious! So I had tried to order pizza from two restaurants near me the other night at 8:25 PM. Even though one closed at nine and the other closed at 10, apparently it was too late to get delivery.
Go figure. Living in the suburbs, you got a love it.
So I opened my DoorDash app and found a pizza delivery service near me. MOD pizza. Thought I'd give it a try.
Super thrilled I did. I created my own with anchovies, sausage, mozzarella, red sauce, ricotta, and drizzled with basil pesto.
Firstly -I was surprised at the price. It was only around 13+ dollars.
Secondly-pizza when you come to think of it, it's really all about the crust. And this crust was perfect. It was the type of crust that you would get it Pizzalina up in Marin, or Pizzaiolo in Oakland. Blistered, thin, crispy, yet sturdy enough to hold the ingredients.
And the toppings were placed with care, the sauce was not overwhelmingly slapped on, and the entire pizza was balanced.
Just like most things in life, the more balanced, the better!
Can't wait to try it again! ( I wonder-- if you really love something, the calories don't count?)

"The San Francisco Special Pizza is a pretty good pizza, crust is pretty good, on the chewy side but not coscto pizza chewy, it's thick and pretty seasoned. the sauce tastes nice and has a very notable natural taste, but it sort've gives you a weird aftertaste. not enough to ruin it but not the best, for this it loses a star. the toppings are evenly distributed and i get a good amount in each bite. pretty good pizza overrall and worth the price "
