"I have yet to encounter a Medhu Vadai as perfectly prepared as these—4 pieces in a single order—at any restaurant in the Bay Area. They are crispy on the outside, tender and thoroughly cooked on the inside. The 2-piece Idly order was also quite satisfying. Mylapore Express never fails to meet our expectations. The only minor inconvenience is that since the store isn't listed on DashPass, we incur a higher delivery fee when ordering through DoorDash."

"Ordered their Kothimeera tomato roti pachadi, it was heavenly. Exactly how they make at my home. I would eat that every day, too good!! I like their thali one of the best thali's I have had in this city."
"Opening up my food packaging was like an unpacking....like the videos we all have seen at one time or another. So, it's like this:
I ordered the thaali, right? Peering into the bag is like pulling out little trinket boxes, wondering what is in each. After I took out my dessert, there was a big side of rice, another little box of yellow rice, a yoghurt rice, 2 daals, one with a snack, one half-filled with the included dessert, one half-filled with some type of liquid which turned out to be lemonade, a surprise veggie - karela, and another yummy veggie - methi malai matter, a roti and some chutney. And that was that!
Although food is always good, and they include something extra every time with my order, where's my naan, where's my salad, my raita! The tiny containers were half-filled at most.....except for the rice.
Even my badam milk was only three quarters full, and it was pistacchio milk, not badam milk. Not cool.
Moral of the story: Don't order right around closing time....they tend to run out of food."

"Whole Pomfret Fry had no salt added to it. Madurai Fried Chicken felt it was fried in one batch and then fried one more time. Not fresh at all. Super bad food. Anjappar Chettinadu used to have good tasting food in the past, no longer true . Portion size for the Madurai Fried Chicken was totally not worth it. Would not order again."

"We really liked the food here
Chicken Pottalam Parotta was really tasty. Had lots of chicken. The Masala Dosa came with a tomato mint chutney which was really yummy. They missed the Nannari Sharbath from our order and then later gave us two when asked. "
"the Malabar Fish Curry was the worst I have ever had.
the dish came with only 2 pieces. one big piece of fish head which has minimal meat and mostly bone...the second piece was the part after with a huge bone and some meat. I've had better curry. This place just didn't work for me. Also, the rice was under cooked properly. maybe some other items are better"

I never used to order or eat Paratha's outside, but their Paratha reminds me of India. My fav is the basic Aloo and onion paratha, and their size is also quite filling. Must try!"
"The bhatura was extremely oily, and we were not able to eat it. The Amritsari kulcha was also disappointing—it had no flavor and didn’t taste like an authentic Amritsari kulcha. It seemed like it was made with plain wheat flour without the traditional stuffing or spices. Overall, the food did not meet our expectations."

"Ordered what I thought were chicken momos, but they turned out to be vegetable ones—my mistake on the menu, so not the restaurant’s fault there.
That said, these were the most tasteless veg momos I’ve ever had. Bland filling, dough felt underseasoned, and overall just lacked any flavor or excitement. For $13 (which seems really steep for veg momos in the area—I’ve seen similar portions for half that at other spots), it was a big letdown and felt overpriced.
The rest of the experience was fine, but I wouldn’t recommend ordering momos here unless you’re specifically craving veg ones and don’t mind the price. Lesson learned—double-check the description next time! 2 stars."

the Lamb Lamb Seekh Kabob Wrap is also one of the best. This restaurant is my favorite place for indian wraps or Kathi rolls."
"Definitely not worth the money and poor quality
I was incredibly disappointed with the tandoori lamb chops. For $30, I only received three tiny pieces, which is ridiculously overpriced. To make matters worse, they were severely over-fried to the point of turning into carbon. I couldn't even eat most of the meat on those small pieces because they were so burnt. Even the few bites I could salvage had a below-average, bland flavor. Definitely not worth the money and I would not order this again."

"Please consider this. This is for Swaadish/ Rasraj Indian restaurant. Please listen to me. Do not waste your money. Please. I ordered via DoorDash and every dish was bitter. Kadarai Paneer, puri, pranthas, EVERYTHING WAS BITTER like bitter gourd (Karela). I ordered at night as I was super hungry. Waited up till next day to call and give genuine feedback. Lady answered the call and claimed that she is the owner / manager of the place. I told her humbly please take my feedback as constructive and positive words to work on it. I clearly mentioned that I am not seeking refund. After me sharing my experience, instead of being apologetic, the arrogant lady turned it around on me and said cos I asked the food to be 10 on 10 spicy is the reason for it to be bitter. I have had food from Indian restaurants across the U.S and this IS THE WORST. She venomously stated that she has been cooking for over ten years so what I am saying is not possible! I humbly request 🙏🏼 all of you to please save your hard earned money and do not waste on businesses like these who doesn’t care about their customers. I ended up throwing their food worth $73."

"The Murgh Tikka Lahori, is stellar! We have tried similar dishes at various restaurants and they do not come close. The seasoning and marinade is spot on. The meat is beautifully cooked through with the flavours seeping in really well. The Naans aren't the traditional Indian style but a more nuanced Pakistani version, which are soft and more bread like, absolutely delightful (I think it is also known as bakharkhani). Their prices for the quantity of food is highly reasonable. We shall be regulars for them."
"Chicken Tikka masala was out of this world. Reminds me of how they make it in Old Delhi. It is spicy and properly authentic as the chicken has been grilled to perfection and then cooked in that beautiful flavour packed gravy. The Murgh Tikka Lahori has a 100% strike rate of being just so damn good. We have ordered it multiple times and it has never faltered in taste or texture. I do love the naans but wish they would arrive hot. They get cold very fast, so you need to eat them quick.
Highly recommend this place."

"Ulavachaaru Ulavacharu Paneer Biryani has more gravy than rice in it. The rice quantity was very minimal and was only on the top layer.
Inside it is all gravy.
Taste was great, though."
"Food is horrible, both Gongura Paneer Biryani and Guthivankaya Biryani lacked taste and there was no flavor whatsoever. All we could taste was oi or ghee whatever they put it in it. Such a disappointment. Save your bucks and stay away from this restaurant. "

"Everything is absolutely phenomenal, just delectable! The Butter Chicken is so savory, so succulent, shredded & marinated in big strips of so much flavor! There's no way youre not scraping your plate clean! The Garlic Chive Naan of course has a heavenly aroma, it a larger naan cut in half. The Samosa are very tastey, the potatoes are cubed inside & the order is for 3. I ended up not having any Tamarind Chutney or Raita but my mom did, who used to live in India & said it was 10/10 !"
"Pro tip I can give to anyone : if you want spicy Chicken Tikka Masala, I would say wait. One night I decided to try their Butter Chicken - with 8 oz rice but add in the notes "please make it extra spicy! Thank you!" . ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. "My new favorite curry spot. Delicious food, fairly priced, and good portion sizes. The Butter Chicken was very rich and filled with tender chicken pieces, and the Naan was fluffy and freshly made. I'll definitely be coming back to try other things!"
"Egg chicken roll was missing. The packaging was bad and oil leaked everywhere. The food was extremely oily. Taste was OK but the oil made be feel sick. The paneer ( Chanar Dalna) had more potatoes than paneer. At first I thought it was aloo dum since I couldn't find the paneer which was all broken up. The basmati pulao and chicken kosha was good. But again, the chicken was too oily. Overall, disappointing experience on Mothers Day! I was really looking forward to having the Egg Chicken Roll which they did not give, though we paid for it."

"Biryani Livermore is my go to place for Biryanis . I orderedVijayawada Mutton Biryani and Vijayawada Paneer Biryani and Buy 1 Biryani Get Tandoori Leg For $4.99
All the 3 items were really good. The Vijayawada Mutton Biryani had lots of meat and spice. The quantity was very good and it was freshly made. highly recommend this restaurant"
"Vijayawada Mutton Biryani and Amaravathi Chicken Biryani ltasted fresh and delicious! Chicken Masakali was fresh, but I like the flavor of some of their other chicken starters better.
The Biryanis here are more reasonably priced than in Paradise Biryani Pointe. For those who care about the details: at the time of writing, Mutton Dum Biryani at Biryaniz Livermore is $14.99 on Doordash whereas Paradise Biryani Pointe sells it for $19.19. Both the biryanis I ordered from Biryaniz Livermore had plenty of meat and masala, and one whole egg. Paradise biryanis come with just half an egg, and you have to pay more for extra meat or egg. I am talking about the regular size, not the family pack.
To conclude, though Paradise Biryani Pointe is still one of my favorites in the Bay Area, I am certainly going to order biryanis more often from Biryaniz Livermore for its value for money while still making delicious, good quality food. Plus it's in my city. Glad you opened a store here, Biryaniz, welcome to Livermore!"

"Chicken Curry Bowl
Loved the flavor but it was kind of watered down. I prefer a thicker and richer curry. It leaves the impression of increased volume but reducing flavor and quality. Given all the inflation this May be an economical way of showing more quantity but at the expense of reducing flavor and quality.
Personally I would rather pay more or have a smaller quantity with a richer less watered down curry. For any business what matters is what the majority of customers want not just this humble one posting an honest review."

"I had to wait a long time for my pickup, even though I could see my box with my name was ready. This was because someone at the counter was deliberating on what to order, and another person was discussing catering for longtime. Why can’t they simply hand over the pickup orders when they are ready?"
