Great mashed potatoes with the skins in like I love and the roasted carrots were done well. However, the carrot cake was lacking in every way besides being really moist. The cream cheese frosting barely has cream cheese, it was instead like a light whipped buttercream. The traditional spice flavors in carrot cake that make it so delicious were not present, but it was very moist at least. I was excited because I prefer mine with toasted coconut and walnuts instead of traditional raisins all over, but sadly the cake just didn't reminisce of carrot cake at all. Not a huge deal, I was just looking for the classic homestyle flavors and comfort food- which the meatloaf brought (albeit a fancy version more than homestyle) and the carrot cake, well... if you want traditional you'll have better luck in the grocery store bakery tbh. Nice place though! Disappointed this restaurant doesn't give any dash pass discount, I had to pay full price for delivery fee and service fee.
