"The Montague's All Meat Marvel® (Medium 12") had multiple types of sausage but somehow was bland. Even the "zesty" red sauce lacked flavor. It was disappointing. "Porridge 皮蛋瘦肉粥 - The bad: It was watery and lacked in flavor. The cruller was kind of hard instead of crunchy, but softened in the congee. The good: I was surprised that they included a little container of white pepper! They know what's up. The century eggs and the side of salted vegetables helped add some needed flavor and texture. The price isn't bad, although debatable due to the portion size. #15 Marinated Soy Pudding 滷汁豆腐腦 - I got this on a whim. It's delicious! Totally made up for the congee. If you need some comfort food, skip the congee and get this. In fact, I mixed a bit into the congee."

#2 Deep Fried Cruller 油條

Deep fried cruller dough is made in small batches in house every day. The dough requires extensive physical manipulation as our staff folds and kneads out these 15 pound pieces. Each piece is flipped and folded 3 times to stretch out the gluten and left to rest 30 minutes in between is allow the gluten to resettle. The end result is a dough that we cut up and deep fry every morning that expands to create a crispy texture on the outside but still chewy on the inside. One of the most popular ways to enjoy these cruller is to dip them in some hot soy milk so it soaks it all up or use it as an ingredient in your hot-pots to soak up all that broth.
