"So disappointed and angry right now. They didn't separate the hot broth from the noodles and toppings, so everything was complete mush by the time it got to me. The chasu was good, not great. The egg was overcooked and not jammy at all, which may have happened while it was still cooking in the broth. The broth was good, but not special, and definitely didn't have the creamy characteristics I look for in a good tonkotsu broth. I asked for extra black garlic oil, and I do believe they delivered on that, at least. I get packaging can be expensive, but I would rather absorb some of that charge than be delivered this hot mess again.
The gyoza were excellent, some of the best I've had. The dipping sauce was only ok, with no nuance and tasted like straight black vinegar.
I absolutely HATE leaving this review, as I love their sushi place, Sumo. I would love to eat in and be able to leave a 5 star review on Google/Yelp. 1 star for DoorDash, though."
