"The food historically has been fantastic from this restaurant, the portion sizes used to be generous and the service was generally quite good. the last order we had seems ro have trended the other way and tonight's was abysmal. The string beans were$27 and they only filled one if their small containers halfway. The noodle portion was ok as it filled the box (athough i think this used to come in a larger box) but th beef brisket was $40 and also only filled about 3/4 of a large container. Worse still, when we started eating it, it was half fat (I'm sure they will say it is tendon but we've had this in store and the whole point of the expense is that it's usually all beef brisket, not 3 small pieces and then 4 or fat/tendon. Unfortunately, it seems Yum Cha cuisine is just another restaurant that has shrunk portion sizes whilst simultaneously hiking prices. One or the other I could handle, but coupled with the poor quality brisket means we likely would not order again."

"$8.50 for 3 small gyoza is wild. None of the food was very nice unfortunately. They had 40% off which is why I'm giving 2 stars. I can't imagine paying like 45 bucks for the small amount of food they gave. portion sizes are also really weirdly named (at lwast for trying to figure out what to will fill you up). For instance the chicken karage cheese roll was a medium and the chicken karage roll was a large but I think this referred literally to the diameter of the roll because the cheese one was probably larger overall. Maybe that's the nomenclature they use for naming in Japan (I know the smallest rolls have a different name) but when you get only two pieces of the large and 4 of the medium I think they should probably include the number of pieces in the description. In terms of quality, I would say the food isn't terrible,it just wasn't very good (say maybe a step below a sushi train franchise, similar to something like Euro sushi)."
