"This is going to be a very rare 5-star review for me. I order DoorDash once a week and have a few restaurants in my rotation . Tonight I came across Verona and thought I would give it a try. It was so VERY impressed. Minestrone soup was awesome and tasted authentic and brought back great memories of homemade Minestrone. Sausage & Peppers was super flavorful with many herbs and delicious sautéed vegetables. Pollo Saltimbocca was tender and juicy, The Perch Picatta was mild, light and nicely prepared. Chopped Salad was generous in portion. Overall, this was a pleasant surprise and truly a hidden gem. Will definitely include at the top of my DoorDash rotation and I look forward to trying many more dishes. Great job Verona!!!!"

"I was disappointed by the crab cakes. The crab didn't taste fresh at all, the little bit of sauce on top also had a funny flavor to me, and I got only 2 small crab cakes that I couldn't bring myself to finish for $22 (and yes, that's prior to any fees, tax, or the driver tip). The bread and dipping sauce that came with it was delightful though, that's why I didn't rate it 1 star. And I'll throw the restaurant a bone here, the first time I gave them a try about a year or two ago, the gnocchi was delicious. I know they're capable of better quality than this. Just wish I got that this time around, too."

Bruschetta: They need to update the pic of the bruschetta because it is NOTHING like the pic. I read the description and thought maybe the olives (which I hate) were a garnish because I wasn't seeing any in the pic. Olives, capers and other veg that I can't identify and very little tomato. I'm sure it is very tasty but I definitely wouldn't have ordered the bruschetta if I knew its main ingredient isn't tomatoes. I ended up eating 1 piece of bread with the micro greens. The chèvre is very strong. They also need to have a better system for Doordasher pick-up. My dasher called me to tell me someone stole the order before they got there and the restaurant was arguing with her to get a remake, which of course made it take twice as long. "
