The first driver appeared to be waiting at the restaurant for about 20 minutes before the order was reassigned. The second driver picked it up and arrived quickly, but by then the damage was done—everything was cold. I ordered the baby back ribs, and they were extremely dried out—closer to jerky than ribs. Most of it wasn’t edible. The rest of the meal, including my wife’s order, still had good flavor despite being cold, which speaks to how good their food normally is. I don’t know whether this was a DoorDash delay, an order sitting too long before pickup, or a kitchen timing issue. If it was DoorDash, I hope La Sierra looks into how delivery orders are handled so the quality matches what they serve in the restaurant. This experience was far below the standard I’ve come to expect from them."
