These are masterfully executed - the dough is soft, moist and buttery but holds up with just enough chew to really aromatize the cinnamon sugar blend. The bake is perfect, transitioning from the crusty outer layer to the gooey center, just as a cinnamon roll should be.
The icing is great, the nuts were fresh, the packing and instructions were great. It really hit the spot, this is the best classic cinnamon roll I've had that I didn't bake - I love Cinnabons, but this easily beats it.
I suspect the caramel sauce has some "natural" and/or artificial flavorings which I didn't appreciate, but it's par for the course for most places, so think of it as "caramel-flavored syrup" than a true caramel. That'd be the main room for improvement, but it didn't detract from it overall.
