"Hello, the ramen at Ramen Shu is one of the top ramen places here in this area. This is a family owned business they do focus on quality nevertheless quantity as well. I’ve been coming to this place over 4 years I do also frequent a lot over my time coming to this place as it’s also close to home they have never let me down. Also as my understanding in Japanese culture it’s disrespectful to rub chopsticks together to remove splinters and so on as I can also say they focus on the quality of their chopsticks which also shows their attention to detail. I am surprised they have not open more locals nearby although it shows they are focused on their craft more than anything. What’s really lovely about this local it has a homey atmosphere not a mainstream local and has quite various ramen dishes. My favorite are Shoyu Ramen, and Tonkotsu Ramen. Also I’ve tried all bento box and nonetheless they are all great options. They also do serve sake which is a great addition to your meal."

"Udon tempura was delicious in terms of flavor, but I was disappointed that it only came with the udon, onions and carrots (aside from the tempura). I've ordered udon from most of the local Japanese restaurants and they usually include mushroom, seaweed and/or lettuce. Noodles were also packed together with the broth, so the noodles were already soft/over cooked by the time it arrived. "

I love that there are gyoza, edamame and some veggies on the sides. Great deal for anyone who likes delicious yet affordable food. I highly recommend this place! "I have been looking for real Japanese teriyaki for quite some time. The teriyaki spots these days all serve chicken that has no texture like it is cooked sous vide, soft and overly moist, drowned in thick, overly sugary bottled "teriyaki sauce". Finally found a spot doing it properly. A bit of char and crisp on the chicken, but soft and moist inside, sauce on the side, sauce not glaze. Authentic, not goopy or thin, perfect consistency with flavor balance, definitely seemed made in house. The food arrived and the portions were large offering great value for the price. The fried pickles had a corner of the carton cut off to vent, they arrived fresh, warm and crispy. The veggie side to the plate was cooked but still crispy fresh. Gyoza arrived crispy as well. Care was definitely taken, reminded me of being in Japan, pride in product served was definitely shown, I will order again and most likely regularly!"
