"We normally drive far away to eat at authentic Hunan, Sichuan, Sanghainese or Cantonese Restaurants instead of generic Chinese restaurants but I would give this local place 5 stars for simply serving deliciously cooked food. The chef here is really talented at their craft: The lemon chicken has crispy exterior and a tender interior, the green beans were crunchy and not over-fried or oily, the salt & pepper prawns were made with fresh, succulent jumbo prawns. The Dasher delivered it fast (thank you), & the order came still nice and warm...but that was the only good thing about this order. Besides the portions being very small, all the dishes were super-duper, very, very salty (they were inedible)! ALL OF THEM! We ordered 4 dishes: Guazzetto Di Mare ($19.95), Carbonara ($24.95), Vegan Cauliflower Linguini ($23.95), Strozzapreti ($27.95). I expected the clams in the Guazzetto to have natural sweetness & saltiness to them, but this dish had more than seawater saltiness so you know there was too much salt added there. First taste of the broth by sopping the 2 small pieces of grilled bread that came with the dish, & was downhill from there. Even the clams were too salty! All the other dishes were the same, so there was no excuse that this was a one-off. I called the restaurant within 20 mins of food arrival, & spoke with the manager, Rosario. He explained the natural saltiness of the clams and the cheeses, which I understand, as we've had these dishes at other restaurants- no problems. But these were obviously OVERSALTED by the kitchen. He offered to remake the dishes for me, but only if I had to pick them up...but we can't & thus, the reason we had our dinner delivered. I explained that the reason for my call anyway was to inform them, not expecting freebies. But in the end, it was time & money wasted, literally leaving a bad taste in your mouth. We retreated back to our kitchen, with no more time to make dinner for ourselves, & resorted to cookies in the cupboard. Their kitchen staff needs to taste the pasta water to start, & taste the food before they are served/boxed to customers. "

The boxes are really packed with food, I was able to get two meals out of the carnitas bowl by adding a little side of protein (also packed). Smoothie was nice and so was the little pudding. The Edamame Dumplings, VEG arrived in a different container than usual, smaller portion and the dumplings were flat and mushy. I have door dashed these plenty of times and they have never arrived like this before. I tried the Spaghetti Squa Casserole, VEG GFsh and it was not a casserole, rather a portion of spaghetti squash noodles with an odd texture. I didn't eat the edamame or squash noodles. I ended up grabbing frozen Mac & Cheese from my hotel's food bar. Oh, my True Food order didn't even come with a napkin or utinsels. For $40 you would think they could throw in a napkin.
