"Chili’s is a great alternative to your regular fast food burger joints when you need dinner on the go with your kids. Ironically, their mac & cheese gets devoured by my children all the time. It’s always nice when you pay for restaurant food that your children actually eat not just a little bit of cause that’s pretty satisfying but the entire thing?! It’s unheard of. I complimented one of the waitresses on how delicious it was that my daughter ate the entire thing and she shared with me that it’s actually craft mac & cheese (yeah I’ll leave out there spelled incorrectly on purpose). I got a decent hearty chuckle out of that one but in retrospect I wonder why all restaurants don’t just do the trustee standby and charge me for it. You can up charge me for that box o mac and I’ll happily pay because parents want their kids to be satiated. They don’t want to feed them something that somebody tried to make fancy so that they can take one bite. It’s disgusting and proceed to have a meltdown for the rest of the night until you find them something that I’ll put in their gullet and swallow. "The buttermilk Buttermilk Biscuit was yummy and larger than I thought it would be. It came with a strawberry spread instead of butter, which was fine, but I wasn't in the mood for strawberry so didn't try the spread. The Cinnamon Dippers I did not like. "The Honey-Garlic Steak Tips were overcooked but my husband said they were still good. He's very shy with spices and ordered off the gringo menu and liked them. They were more medium-well than medium rare but that's okay. The Quesabirria was delicious with a nice smoky flavor. It did not come with the guajillo sauce though and that was disappointing. The lettuce on the side was pretty wilted as well but I wouldn't have eaten it anyway and the Quesabirria flavor more than made up for those oversights. The portion was very large as you see I only cut a small piece out! The Queso Fundido was very large with lots of fresh chips and a nice side. So there's definite room for improvement but we are overall glad we tried this new to us restaurant"
