"As a sushi chef myself I can confidently say that Tokai is in my top 3 spots for sushi in SCV. The quality of the fish is very good. I appreciated the fact that they actually marinated the Ikura (salmon roe). Many sushi restaurants skip this step so you just end up eating salty salmon eggs. My only complaint is I think the marination proved to be a little too much on the sweet side. Other than that my meal was fantastic. I ordered the BAKED GREEN MUSSELS which are probably the best tasting ones in SCV. The red SURF CLAM SUSHI (1PC) which isn't for everyone but has always been one of my favorites.
