"Ordered from this place multiple times in a week when I discovered this place 😭 I don't usually ever see a crispy pork bánh mì so I wanted to try it here. I have to mention everything I noticed because I've had bánh mì that misses in these departments: The bread is soft inside and lightly toasted, so it's not tough to bite into or cut the inside of your mouth. The pork belly is ALWAYS crunchy. Jalapeños are cut lengthwise for even spice distribution. They have ALL the condiments... they do not skimp - the soy garlic sauce compliments the pork, and they slathered on that pâté like they're making it for their own family. They also put in mayo as a nice balance to the salty-sour. A lot of places only give you 1-2 out of 3 condiments. The carrots are actually pickled - I've had non pickled before and it just doesn't hit. The veggie-meat balance is perfect. I've had my share of bánh mì, and I can tell you they KNOW bánh mì. It's worth it and the best bánh mí I've had in my 30 years alive🤭"

"First time I tried this place. Easy parking, clean and organized inside, friendly staff. Bánh mì was good, veggies were fresh and crisp. Basil Popcorn Chicken was good but could have been better with a few more basil leaves (more like the photo on the menu). Peach Orange Lemongrass Tea was delicious and D13. Peach Black Tea with strawberry popping pearls is what I will be going back for soon. Unfortunately, the Deep Fried Bananas couldn't have been more disappointing. They were fried bread "pockets" with essentially nothing inside. There were traces of what probably started as bananas, but only traces (maybe 5% of the original volume of banana) remained after frying. Nevertheless, I'll be back for the sandwiches and drinks and I'm glad to have a new restaurant nearby that I like this well!"

"This is by far my favorite Vietnamese restaurant, and I've eaten at almost all of them in the area. There is a lot to choose from, and I'll tell you what sets this one apart. There is the same sweet longevous lady working in the kitchen who is the most OG authentic Vietnamese chef you can find. I lovingly call her Mama. She cooks from the heart. She takes extra time because she wants the dishes to represent the best of Vietnam. She's here because her heart and soul is in it to win it. She has been teaching others her secret ways to carry on her legacy. Makes me confident that the dishes will stay consistent for a very long time. The restaurant is under new ownership and he's already made some beautiful upgrades inside. He's young, ambitious, and has grown up in an entire family of restauranteurs. I feel awful for not remembering his name. It's in his blood he is in full gear to grow fans to this long standing restaurant. I strongly encourage you to order from here, but also please visit them in person to say hello and help them increase their profits! My favorite dish is the Vietnamese crepe, the incredible Bánh xèo. I don't understand why, but it's like the great white buffalo to find at Vietnamese restaurants. Mama makes it perfect! So crispy on the outside and full of pork and large shrimp. The produce is fresh. The pickled veggies are addictive. And then there's the BEST part!! You dont get a cup of dark smelly fish sauce to dip your bites in. They make an amazing sauce that's out of this world! As I rave over my favort dish, I must say they also have the richest and tastiest pho around. It is soul comforting food. Pho is so good for you in the first place. Add some heat and it's the ultimate solution when you're sick. I was a performer and had to speak in front of crowds at least 3 times a week. When I would get a cold, I never ran to the medicine cabinet, I ran to Pho on 44th! Never failed to fix me up proper by the next day. It would clear up my voice, my congestion, and my lungs. It made me capable of feeling better enough to keep going and shortened the average time of my colds to just a couple days! How can food this fantastic also be medicine? Ask Mama if you speak Vietnamese! When you have an option to choose delicious, healthy, and satisfying food; or greasy burgers and fries that makes you have regret the next day- make the obvious choice. Grab some Pho on 44th! "

"The first time I tried a banh mih sandwich was from this restaurant. I had heard of banh mih before and never thought I would like it because I'm not really a sandwich person. But I tried it on a whim from this restaurant and fell in love. Afterwards, I have tried other restaurants in the area that specialize in banh mih but none of them quite compare to this one. Perfect sandwich size, perfect filling amount and options, and the bread has the perfect crisp to it. The bubble tea options are also amazing to have on the side of your banh mih sandwich. My favorite is the Fruits Drink which has actual chunks of fruit in it and I can't seem to find this type of bubble tea anywhere else. "The Beyond the Bowl was okay. Good sized portion for sure. Their poke raw fish is always a little soft and macerated or chewy and fatty here. It's not fresh and perfect like the other poke places I've been to, but it's also not weird and cheesy like bad places I've been to. So it's mid but when desperate it's okay. The Satay Noodle is my favorite dish.
