Noi Thai Cuisine

"Noi is my all time favorite thai place in the Seattle area! Everything is always fresh hot consistent and delicious. Noi's Green Papaya Salad (Som Tum) is perfect, and they're one of the only places that have it year-round. I have no earthly idea how they get such fresh ingredients even when papaya is completely out of season. Good papaya salad has become almost a litmus test for me now that I live in the Seattle area. Not all Thai restaurants necessarily serve it and out of the ones that do, in my experience if the som tum is good, the whole menu is probably 4 stars or better, and that absolutely holds true for this place. Literally at this point I'm sure I've tried least half of Noi's menu if not more, and they have never, EVER let me down. Also, and this can be super personal so it might not help everyone, but their spice rating system is perfect in my opinion. Their 1* is exactly what I would rate as a 1/5, the 3* is exactly what I would consider a 3/5, etc. I also appreciate the button for "I'm thai, make it thai spicy" which is a big green flag all by itself. Most importantly: if I order a 3 today and a 3 for the same dish on a random day three weeks from now, it will be exactly the same spice level every time. For me, especially as a user with a white-sounding name, this is a 10/10 experience. Idk what system y'all have in place but every other restaurant needs to incorporate it, because you have got this down to a science. I'm honestly tempted to say you deserve 5/5 stars just for having such a good system and trusting patrons to know their own spice tolerance. So here go my recommendations: My personal all-time favorite menu items here are the Green Papaya Salad (Som Tum), tom kha, crying tiger, and the coconut panang curry. In general, I also strongly recommend giving the house specialties a try as well as anything recommended by staff on any given day. You can also trust all the dishes the doordash app says are popular/highly rated. But like I said, they've never let me down and if you're just looking for something familiar and approachable, look no further! I especially recommend the massaman and fried chicken if you are looking for delicious options that are not spicy. Another plug for the crying tiger under the low spice category, actually, because it's basically flank steak with dipping sauce, very easy to adjust spice level. After a long week, when I miss my thai family and friends and the homemade dishes they used to make for me, I come here because I know I can trust the flavors will be exactly right every time. Hope you'll love this place as much as I do! "

"Yua Ramen is my go-to restaurant anytime I DoorDash. Their tonkatsu ramen and their black garlic ramen are both incredible - rich in flavor, hearty, stick to your bones. Sometimes I like to add extras, like bamboo shoots or chili oil. Plain or with add ins, I have never once been disappointed. I also always get their Okonomiyaki pancake. I haven't been able to find anything like it elsewhere, and I crave it constantly. It's perfect for dinner, or if I have leftovers I like to reheat for breakfast. The last item I've tried is their gyoza, which is of course crisp, warm, and delicious. "

"3 stars for this experience. My last dine-in experience deserved 5 stars. This time, the prices are outrageously higher online (with no first party ordering option, so stick with DD), Medium Chips and Salsa are as much as an entree despite being free in the restaurant. The 23. 1 Enchilada, 1 Relleno, 1 Tamale was not as good as any entree I've had in the restaurant before. There was barely a trace of meat in the tamale, likely less than 1 oz of chicken -- it was basically a log of mashed corn. The relleno was fantastic and my rating would have been 2 stars without it. The enchilada was good. The rice tasted stale which might have been because it was so late in the day, but that's not an excuse for serving poor quality food. The beans were a bit dry and didn't taste as good as in the past. Overall, I'll be back, but almost certainly not order online again."

If you are on the hungrier side, I would size up to the giant size, the original size is jam packed with filling but may be a little small for an adult if it's the only thing you're eating."

"Been wanting to eat this alllll week, but I came home late from work so I thought I'd miss my opportunity to order again. I was down to the wire when I placed my order that I was prepared it wouldn't take. I am so grateful they took my order. I really needed this (Chicken Cream Udon) today, so thank you! 🥲 I like the other meals here, but the Chicken Cream Udon is definitely my top favorite. I like the sauce here because its not watery, its legit rich and creamy. I also like its not overwhelmed with veggies. A lot of places like to fill up noodle dishes with other things, it ends up bring more of a veggie dish than noodle dish. 😤 Anyway, Ashiya is definitely a hidden gem in my book. Will be back again! 😊"

"Yup, still good. Would like to try their shoyu ramen, but hoping they'll add option to sub with chasu down the road when I do 🤔 Anyway, food still taste great. The ramen came in a to-go container shaped like ramen bowl and can hold a good amount of the soup. Just a little leftover soup to sip on 😋"

"First time trying Momo Sushi, got the Lion King Roll, Miso soup, and Dragon Roll. Packaging was good, a piece of cardboard on the bottom of the bag to support the container for stability was nice to see. I wasn't very happy that all of the sushi was put into one large container, any slight mishandling by the Dasher and the sushi would've been a mess. I think the Lion King Roll and Miso soup were fantastic, best Miso soup I've had in a while. The Dragon Roll left room for desire however, the price point ($20+) for 8 smaller pieces of sushi that was essentially in the same tier as similar dragon rolls from other Sushi restaurants at ~20% more cost was disappointing. Finally the, Lion King Roll had a nice level of spice and was very flavorful. The only point of improvement was the distribution of tobiko wasn't very even among each of the 8 pieces. There is room for improvement in competitive pricing, recipe refining, and packaging, but I'm still happy to have given Momo Sushi a try."

"Geberally the Mocktails beverage comes in a clear tall plastic cup w/lid. The ice and garnish come in a short plastic cup w/lid. Recently, 3of the past 4 orders, have had the mocktail beverage in the short cup - sometimes 2/3 full and sometimes barely half full. The ice is in the tall cup. At $8+ per cup, and only getting about half of a short cup, feels like a rip off. The inconsistency of the sizes of the beverage is not appreciated "

The ladies recognize me every time I come in and always prepare the most delicious dishes. We have been to many Ethiopian restaurants in the Seattle area and this one is, hands down, my all time favorite and go to! "

"I got the Shiro Wot Seasoned Split Pea Powder Sauce and Collard Green with gluten Extra Gluten free Injera. When it arrived it was still super hot and the portions are huge! The injera was nice and soft and the dishes were perfectly spiced. Would absolutely order again!"
