"The Citrus Mint Soother is WAY too sweet that it's making my face turn with every sip. The Pumpkin Muffin tastes amazing though! The Sugar Cookie I haven't let my daughter try yet, but I thought I would get the penguin, but it's a bear(doesn't really look festive just looks like a bear). The Matcha Tea is okay, there's a little bit of an aftertaste to me. Overall, the muffin is the only thing so far that I would order again."

"There is a reason Papalis is always voted the BEST deep dish pizza, it's because it IS! It's authentic, (some other pizza places don't understand deep dish pizza is supposed to be like a PIE), but Papalis knows this! Pricey? A little but I can justify the price when the pizza is perfection! The peppers were fresh, the cheese, oooey gooey (as it should be), delicious sauce! I'm also a meatball snob and their meatballs are the BEST in the area!! I should have ordered from here on National Deep Dish pizza day but blew it and didn't, learned my lesson! Want authentic, delicious deep dish pizza? Don't look anywhere else!! "
"It's good. I mean I've been a customer for this pizza for years. Very pricy for the offering but like their deep dish and salads. Meatballs are good but I'm not adding $14 for 3 meatballs (ground beef) with sauce to our meal. Paying $30 for a small pizza is beyond comprehension but allows me to maintain sanity as it is really good. Wish they would just lower the price to help. Oh, or at least have a flavor crust but it is still a good crust. Also you have to pull the pizza slices up from the pizza box otherwise left overs are difficult to pull up-they haven't cracked that code all these years how to put a some sort of baking paper down in the box before putting the pizza in the box. "Elephant Ears this is my favorite to desert to get and the way this place makes them is absolutely delicious. I haven't had an Elephant Ears since my celiac became severe but Renee's knows how to make them just as good (if not better) than the originals"
"I ordered from Renee’s Gourmet Pizzeria (Tru Pizza Co) and had a great experience from start to finish. The food came quickly, everything was hot, and I felt completely confident eating it—even with food restrictions.
The deep-dish Meat Lovers Pizza with vegan cheese was delicious. The crust had a nice chew and actually held up under generous toppings and flavorful sauce. It's similar to the pizza I used to eat before going gluten-free—something I’ve missed for a long time.
The Grilled Chicken Wrap was filling and well-seasoned, and the cheese flatbread had that warm, golden top layer and soft center that hit the spot.
The Fresh Cut Fries were the only item I wouldn’t order again—they were soggy and under seasoned. My son ate a few but left most of them alone.
But the Elephant Ears ? Absolutely worth it. They were soft, sweet, and finished with just the right amount of icing. A comforting end to a solid meal."

"Pizza was great, but the cauliflower came with 6 pieces in a much too large box so it all spread around. It looked incredibly unappetizing and small. "
"Unfortinately the food is not as good as it used to be - definitely not worth the current price. The SZECHWAN CHICKEN DUMPLINGS were extremely soggy possibly because they were swimming in the sauce for their entire ride to our house. I suggest packaging the sauce in a separate cup. The SPINACH ARTICHOKE DIP tasted like it was from the grocery store. We ordered extra herb ranch dressing with our two THE ORIGINAL BBQ CHICKEN CHOPPED SALAD, but didn't receive them. Thats ok this time because the dressing did not taste as good as it normally does - recipe change maybe? The MARGHERITA PIZZA was almost up to par, but it barely had any fresh basil on it. Not sure if this is just a random bad evening to order, but the cost is simply too high for the low quality of these items. We have been a longtime customer (over 15 years) but we are likely not going to order again. :-("

"One Meat Combo I chose burnt ends point tip brisket and 2 sides were sweet potato mash & mac n cheese. I wanted to try everything so I ordered Pit Beans, Brisket Chili, Cornbread, and Collard Greens. Everything I tasted was absolutely filled with flavor and the chili, pit beans, and greens all had huge chunks of meats. Everything was a lil on the spicy side if youre not a spicy eater but I am and it was incredible. Everything was packaged nicely and still piping hot upon arrival. I recommend trying them at least once. I'll be a return customer. Good portions and was not too pricy. "
"The candied bacon is dangerous! My blood pressure is probably upset with me, but my belly is glad! The portions on the Pit Master Bundle are generous, especially given the price. If you get the bundle, then I suggest getting a second set of sides because the bundle is a lot of meat.

I have yet to try anything from here that has not been mouth watering. 10/10 would recommend! If I had to nit pick for something to complain about, the only complaint is the inability to remove toppings from some of their specialty pizzas but everything else is so good it doesnt even bother me."
"had the BUTTER CHICKEN PIZZA with GARLIC NAAN CRUST and omg it was SO delicious. I would definitely order it again. It was pipping hot, fresh, and the size of the pie was way more than enough!"

"Always the best! Breadsticks are SOOO good!!!!"
"The dough on both of our pizzas were completely RAW. It is gummy, and tastes like a mouthful of raw dough.
It is the worst pizza I've had. It seems like it was only cooked for a few minutes. I'm trying to salvage a few pieces in the air fryer for my kids, and it's taken another 10 minutes to get it edible.
I should not be able to make a dough ball out of my supposedly cooked pizza crust."

"The buffalo chicken pizza is spicy (not too spicy) and amazing. We ordered an additional pizza (meat lovers) and it was just exactly what you'd want it to be. They have my favorite type of cheese bread in the world (basically a cheese pizza minus the sauce) as opposed to individually formed "sticks" and there was a ton of cheese on it, too. Also, and this was a huge surprise, the carrot cake was delicious! We'll be ordering from them again, as soon as my wife grants us our next pizza night!!!"

"The Mozzarella Sticks were on point. They serve the short stub kind, which to me tastes better. However, the pizza, ugh. I have ordered from several different Busemeis before and never did the sauce taste this bad, it's like watered down extra garlic tomato sauce, not even a decent base."

"They used to be our go too but not this time. Big Fish Dinner was WAY overcooked and burnt. The amount of fries was half of what we used to get. The bread sticks? Burnt and had to feed the dogs. "The lasagna was a joke. It was so flat and salty; I couldn't eat it. One side had no pasta noodle (lasagna) at all. One piece of bread had too much garlic seasoning. One of the rib tip dinners had no cole slaw. Amicci's was surprisingly "sloppy" today."

"Positives: the quality of the dough / ingredients is evidently of great + fresh. Order was made and arrived on time.
Negatives:
1. Small Margherita Pizza... I read reviews from others stating this is the best they've ever had so I decided to get it.. sadly the pizza tasted like straight bread and tomato sauce. They definitely need to not cheap out on the cheese. It was also overpriced for the size imo
2. The half bread sticks are completey different from the picture on the menu, they're just standard bread sticks - no cheese... nothing special.
3. They forgot my Mountain Dew. I did note to substitute for other drinks if it was not available however I sadly did not receive any drink with my order "
"The pictures make this pizza look delicious but the reality was that it tasted like nothing. The crust lacked crunch and the sauce, cheese, and pepperoni were all absolutely flavorless. It's almost impressive that they've managed to make a pizza that tastes like absolutely nothing. This was honestly the most bland and unremarkable pizza I've ever tasted in my life and I've tried more than 500 different pizza places all across the United States. It didn't even taste bad, it just tasted like nothing at all. My recommendation to their pizza chef is to use google to find a better dough recipe. Do a thick or thin crust but not whatever this crust is. Change suppliers to get better quality ingredients. Add some salt, pepper, herbs, and spices to level up the sauce. Try out a mozzarella/ provolone, or asiago cheese blend, and if you're unable to eat pork, then ask a friend who can eat pork to help you find a quality pork pepperoni with flavor and spice."
