"I have ordered from Brenda Lee close to 100 times it's consistently amazing, authentic and fresh. The Arroz (Rice) and Frijoles ( Beans) are really good. Beans are black beans and are really tasty. Rice is fluffy. Love the Tres Leches although the contents often leak I wish they would package in a separate bag or with plastic wrap. The Elotes Preparado are good too and I ask for light mayo and they do read the special instructions which I really appreciate. Have gotten all my coworkers obsessed too. Other items I order are el pastor tacos, chilaquiles, beef burrito. This a restaurant where you can pick something you've never tried or heard of and it will be good. Order without hesitation! "

"I absolutely love the taste and definite love that goes into their process of making the Pancita O Menudo ( Tripe Stew)! The flavors are fresh yet meld together beautifully. For me, I get several servings from the portion provided. It comes with a small side of rice, which I always order extra. I order this EVERY time we order from Brenda Lee's because I can't go without it! My only complaint is that usually everything is just 100% perfect, and they have sent my delivery as such to the menu, but I always ask for extra lime wedges, and it does come with condiments, but the last 2 orders my special instructions requesting if I could have extra limes I didn't. I happen to love lime, otherwise it isn't a necessary add on, the stew DOES have that lime flavor hint to it and DOES come with usually 2 pieces of lime as well as onion and cilantro."

"Food was well portioned and delicious, albeit very expensive for traditional Mexican food. The Enchilada Red or Green was really good, I did ask for spicy but they must not have looked at the request. The Flautitas were tasty but not worth $16 even with the rice and beans. The Traditional Burrito was huge, but again - not worth $18 without at least a side of chips or something to attempt to justify the price. One thing I would is that they mention that their Burrito is not a handheld burrito, as it's covered in melted cheese. It's definitely overkill. Maybe knock the price down a few dollars and save the cheese on top. I enjoy having some local Mexican restaurants that cook traditional style food, but I fear their prices may be their undoing in the long run. "

"The food is S tier. I got chicken tacos, rice and beans and chips. The chips are the standout thing here, not the best thing I got, but the corn tortilla chips are very meaty and have a good crunch to them, not like the store bought ones. Only thing I don't like is that I got way too much with my order of beans, they could chop the price in half and give you half the amount and I'd be happy, especially considering the rice cost the same amount and I didn't get nearly the same weight in rice as I did the beans."
