"The Shrimp fried rice was very tasty and it was loaded with shrimp."

"The food is mediocre at best. There are a couple of high points and some low points. The high points was the hot and sour soup. Very rich and tasty. It could have had a bit more hot spice to it, but overall very good. The pork lo mein was good, but not great. I've had lo mein at other restaurants in the area that have MUCH more meat than this one did. Also, for the price, the container didn't have as much lo mein as other restaurants in the area. The two eggrolls were soggy and all I tasted was the wrapper. There didn't seem to be much filling in them. The hot and crispy beef *would* have been good, but by the time it arrived it was stuck together and all "gooped" up with corn starch so the sauce was a like a thick covering rather than a slight glaze or a typical sauce loose sauce. I ordered a side of pork fried rice and while it was not bad, again, it lacked pork and since I paid a premium to have PORK fried rice rather than white rice (free) or plain fried rice, I feel like I got ripped off. This restaurant is typical of the area's Chinese restaurants. There really isn't a *great* Chinese restaurant in this area. I'm not sure why there can't be a restaurant here that offers other types of dishes. If you want really good Chinese food, check out Full Kee on Horsepen Road in Richmond. It's a bit more expensive, but multiples times better than anything in the Fredericksburg area."

"I've wanted to like them since they bought out Fortune Gourmet years ago, so I order sporadically Alas, Spring Roll（2） was mushy, not crisp, and the filling had little flavor. The Pork Fried Dumplings had more flavor, but were very doughy and overwhelmed the filling. On a better note the Wonton Soup was very good, not just salty, with plenty of fresh green onions and beautifully clear, fresh broth. The Vegetable Lo Mein had lovely noodles and a reasonable portion of vegetables - onions, mushrooms, snow peas, and broccoli. The Pad Thai, Pork was tasty with al dente noodles and enough sauce for good flavor without drowning the food. Alas, no peanut topping. The main reason I ordered was the Mandarin Chicken . Thankfully HG abandoned their original recipe for this dish and adopted the FG recipe several years ago. Fiery without sacrificing flavor with fresh red, green, and yellow peppers (not the canned peas and carrots of yore.) Sadly, small portion/price ratio deters a repeat."

Salmon Roll was not what was pictured, just a chunk of salmon in the center of a rice roll then held together with seaweed. Spicy Tuna Roll didn't have much flavor at all, usually 1 of my fav rolls but this was a let down. Spicy Crab Roll was good, more flavor and "spice" than the spicy Tuna. I was disappointed in the small amount of wasabi provided for 3 rolls, it was barely what I would expect to get for 1, plus the 3 rolls were for 3 different people so it bugged me that they were packed in 1 container. The Yum Yum sauce wasn't bad but wasn't the flavors I expected. I'd order again, some repeats but definitely need to find the right roll to replace my go to spicy tuna next time."

Fried Chicken Wing (6) and they stole the show. They were fried perfectly & had a great fresh taste to them. The 5. Crab & Cheese Wonton (6) came with extra sauce and that was a plus (they were also delicious). I ordered a side of 14. Plain Lo Mein and the portion was HUGE. As a sailor stationed in San Diego back-in the day we had a go to called Aldeburtos on Rosecrans St. el Tony's flautas brought back those fond memories. Now if Icould just get a carne asada burrito with just carne and pico. No rice no cheese no nothing else. MEAT and pico that's it. I'll pay the up charge!!!! "

"I don't normally care of udon noodles, but I havent been feeling well and read that udon is easy on your stomach. This was pretty good, I'd just go easier on the salt. The broth was pretty salty. It did make me feel better though, and the udon was very filling without upsetting my stomach. All in all, it did its job. Having lived in Japan for a few years, I'd also say that this was pretty authentic. Will order from the restaurant again!"

The vegetables were flavorless, steamed straight from what tasted like Walmart, no salt, no seasonings, the teriyaki sauce tasted like thick maple syrup, straight from a bottle. The sushi pieces were super small (I've had larger ones from the commissary and better tasting). The rice was fine. Not worth the money. "

"The Taiwanese Lo Mei is yummy, and tastes the way you would expect. The texture of the chicken inside of the noodles (if you choose to get it, of course) is consistent and didn't cause me any issues. The Crab Rangoon had less filling than I hoped it would, but was still delicious nonetheless. We will definitely be ordering from here again!"

"Wasn't terrible. But wasn't great either. The crab Rangoon was GREAT & probably the best item we ordered! The Orange Chicken was terrible. For being $15+ dollars for the entree & for the portion size you get-there was only 14 pieces of what was literal popcorn chicken nuggets that were covered in the THICKEST jelly/jam consistency of a orange flavored sauce. Was most definitely not worth the money spent. The Pad Thai noodles, were no where near how they used to be! Extremely watery. Extremely bland. No spice, or flavoring whatsoever. Don't understand the lime wedge that came with it as well? That was the most flavoring that came from the dish, was squeezing the lime wedge over the noodles. THAT'S how bland it actually was! Again, not worth the price. The Chicken Satay was an actual grilled chicken patty, that they sliced length wise & thrown into the container. Thank god the Peanut sauce served with both the Beef Satay & the Chicken Satay was the same, because that was the second best tasting item we ordered besides the Crab Rangoon! The shrimp & vegetable tempura also was VERY bland. Edible, but ultimately tastless. After ordering dinner this evening, will most definitely NOT be ordering from this establishment again. It was all edible, however was NOT flavorful AT ALL. Nor, was it worth the $120 spent!"
