"I was visiting from out of town and had the desire for tamales. I ordered two chicken tamales with mole sauce, four chicken tamales with red sauce, and (a first for me) a sweet tamale with raisins. When I arrived, I found the young staff member behind the counter to be very proficient and an excellent and well versed individual who immediately told me that my order was ready and that she had included an extra tamale for me. I was on the road and didn't get a chance to eat until 3 hours later; but, when I did, I was in for a big surprise. The size of these tamales is 2-1/2 to 3 times the size of the tamales that one usually finds. Not only were they huge; but, they were also outstandingly delicious. I highly recommend this specific tamale restaurant. I will definitely return to this specific tamale restaurant in the future whenever I am in the Houston area."
