"I normally order to-go in person but decided to order via their app. I noticed that prices are extremely consistent (no blatant markups) and the quality is always top tier. The only thing I wish stayed consistent was that the fry portion (ordered as an add-on) would be the same. It's seriously a hit or miss whether in person or ordering online. After paying $5 for some fries, it's disappointing to find the container bottom barely covered sometimes, while other times the container (which is pretty big) decently filled with them. My last order had less fries than a large Mickey D's. It was literally the same amount of fries on the sandwich. I could've just saved my money. Overall my sandwiches are always the best (Classic Rueben and Turkey w/extra meat). I've never been disappointed with the quality nor the portions. And for the price!? "Rene's is a well known, long time establishment which is why I'm sad that I have to write this review. The 6" Hot sausage sandwich was not that great. It actually tasted like Kielbasa with a lot of garlic. It didn't have that fennel taste normally associated with hot sausage. I actually tossed the other half because I wasn't happy with the taste. Not to mention (look at the pic) the sandwich was more bun than anything. The Fried cheese was ok but didn't look anything like the menu pics(which looked fire!!) Tasted good but pretty average. Again, sad that I had to make this unsavory review but I expected more from such a well known staple. Sorry Rene's...you missed the mark on this one."

"The layoutof the meal was similar to that of Raising Cane's. I would say the spicy chicken tenders could have been a bit more seasoned but they were good regardless. Jalapeño Ranch is always good no complaints. The Layne's Sauce tasted like a black peppercorn sauce, it was good but I wasn't in the mood for that kind of flavor at the time I had my 3 Finger Meal. My favorite part was the fries and the bread. The seasoning on the fries wasn't too salty and had a hint of sweet to them. I am also a sucker for Texas toast, it was buttered well and seemed like it had a hint of garlic. Overall I was pleased. It would be a five if the tenders were seasoned more."
