"So far the most authentic Chinese food restaurant in Ventura county. Hunan is a province/region so it's like eating Cajun for example. This is truly a gem for foodies and people that have extended palates. For the less adventurous, try the soup dumplings and beef rolls. Personally the Steamed Ribs with Millet and any of the spicy fish dishes. Its pricier but the portions are big."

"I wish they followed notes. they always forget to include sauces which changes everything. the food isotherwise good. the Original General Tso's Chicken左宗棠鸡 isn't great. was soggy and bland. Fried Dumpling煎饺 were good. Pan Fried pork Buns(6p)生煎包tasted good but the they werecompletely stuck to the paper. we were picking bits off just to take a bite. shouldn't use the paper for those. portions are always good. would order most again."

"this is my go to for comfort food. their sticky rice brings me comfort (hong kong) and their taiwanese fried rice and beef noodles always warms my belly and the veggies ( bok choy, green beans and spinach are always fresh )"

"Some people may really like the Chicken Fried Rice, but it was not for me even after adding the two soy sauce packets. I dont think this was cooked with any flavoring at all. Maybe just steamed? Literally didnt even taste salt. The Pork Soup Dumpling (Xiao Long Bao) were fine, but on the smaller side in comparison to other places I've ordered from and the dipping sauce was just so-so. The Tanghulu was fine and came in a sealed bag, like a freeze sealed thing, but I am apparently not a fan of the mouth feel that is hawthorn. All in all, the dumplings were the only thing I finished, the others got tossed. However, I'm still givig three stars as that's just personal taste preference and not because I think the place is awful. I just know not to order again."
