"Kalyug is one of my favorite restaurants in Canada. The food always reminds me of home, and honestly, I haven’t found a better taste anywhere else. The quality, flavor, and authenticity are outstanding. For me, Kalyug deserves a full 5-star rating.
I would just like to suggest a couple of small improvements. First, my order did not include disposable cutlery. It would be helpful if cutlery were included with takeout and delivery orders. Even if there is a small extra charge for it, I would not mind paying.
Second, the spicy sauce and the pickled onions (vinegar-marinated onions) were provided in very small quantities. These sides add a lot to the overall meal experience, and it would be great if a little more could be included, especially for regular customers.
Other than these minor suggestions, everything was excellent. The food is consistently delicious, the portions are satisfying, and the taste truly feels like home. I can honestly say that I haven’t had better Indian food anywhere else in Canada. Kalyug has earned my 5-star rating, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic, home-style food"

I just wanted to share something about the Lomi Batangas I ordered today. I’ve been watching TikTok videos, reading Google reviews, and checking Facebook posts about your lomi—it’s really the talk of the town, and that’s why I was so excited to order again, especially since I’m not feeling well.
But the one I received today was a little different from what I’ve seen and from my previous orders. The lomi had a lot of sauce, and some of the usual toppings were missing—no egg and no crispy chicharon, a little pieces of fishballs (2-3pieces). I was surprised because those are usually the best parts. I did get two pieces of pork liver, which was generous, but it wasn’t something shown in the blogs or reviews or to your interviews.
I’ve ordered before and really enjoyed it, so I was just a bit puzzled this time. The lomi turned out more like “saucy soy-sauce noodles.”

The bread however is fresh and thick, and the Lahmacun with Salad (2 pcs) is a good size. However I received a lentil soup instead of the Chicken Soup I ordered. Im disappointed by the small portions sizes for the price and recommend you revisit the side portions at least like for rice etc."

"I got the catfish barbecue and I had the option to pick a side so I got fries, it tasted really good just like the roadside barbecue in Nigeria. It's the closest thing to home for those of us that miss the streets of Lagos. It was dry on the outside and tender on the inside, it was also very fresh and warm, packaged in a foil and news paper (reminds me of home) and there was an extra peppered sauce and veggies for garnish. I had a full table when I unwrapped it.
