The potato soup was less than half a container and looked like a sad pile of slop. The side bread stick looked normal but the bottom half of the entire length of it was hard and super chewy. The salad actually looked okay but was more lettuce than anything and they gave me iceberg lettuce (the cheapest kind of lettuce) instead of romaine that I ordered. The croutons were so salty; the texture and taste was like a slightly crunchy chunk of sponge that had been marinated in salt water. They didn't even manage to give me a full cup of my drink. "Papdi chaat was extremely disappointing. For $10, I expected more than 1/2 tablespoon of potatoes and 1/2 tablespoon of chickpeas. Basically I got a $10 box of papdi (crackers) with some chutneys. This has not matched my past experiences with this restaurant. Gobi manchurian was tasty, price was excessive for the amount (received more papdi than gobi manchurian and paid more for the gobi). Family pack of samosas was fantastic, as always. These are a family favorite. Idly Sambhar remains some of the best I've had. This is a comfort food for me. Overall--I expected some increase in prices due to inflation. I did not expect the quantity cuts received with the increased prices. Food quality remains exceptional. Be mindful in ordering, some items are not a good value. Overall half of my order was a good value. The rest was an expensive lesson. "
