"BLACKENED CHICKEN BOWL let me start off by saying all of the food is delicious. However, the GARLIC BUTTER SHRIMP plate is misleading. For $17, you get maybe a 1/2 cup of BABY shrimp, not regular sized shrimp. To get a decent portion of the blackened chicken, make sure you order the bowl, not the plate. The teriyaki chicken bowl is tasty but it tastes more like a plain general tso's intead of teriyaki."

"Dumpling Dojo is a fave with my family, and this order was GREAT. However, there have been times in the past where some the chicken is very dry and hard (im guessing from being overcooked) and the heat intensity of the spices can sometimes be a bit much. The General Taos Chicken Bowl is their GO-TO dish, so they really should do better about making it RIGHT every time - especially at this price point. The last thing I'll say is we are all very disappointed with the recent container change from the waxy paper box to the generic Chinese food takeout PLASTIC container. The steaming hot food hits the plastic and gets covered up right away, trapping the heat and causing the meal to TASTE LIKE PLASTIC. Anyone who claims they havent noticed this is simply not telling the truth. Its very noticeable. If you're going to stick with the generic plastic containers, they should VENTILATE the lids to allow heat some to escape which reduces the potential of the plastic leeching into the food. PRO TIP to Dumpling Dojo - Use a heat element (a cheap soldering iron works best) to melt 1 hole (the size of a pencil eraser is adequate) into the center of the plastic lids and stack them back up ready for your orders. This small ventilation hole will prevent the internal temperature from reaching the point where the plastic can leech while still keeping the food at the perfect service temperature. At least try it for a day and see if the plastic taste issue is eliminated! These are constructive criticisms, NOT COMPLAINTS. We still continue to order from Dumpling Dojo and will order from them again! We love the food and the staff and hope to see these minor issues resolved."

"Everything was nice. Fresh and hot. The soup was delicious and savory, and maybe that's why I would like more. The turkey was perfectly nice, as was the fish in portions. One more laddle of egusi, though, would make five stars."

"Would give 0 stars if I could! Food portions are incredibly small for the price. They literally gave me 1 small piece of beef for $5 and my egusi came practically empty but that didn't end up even mattering because the food was terrible! Very very bland even the fufu tasted weird like dirt. I'm so irritated that I wasted my money on this."

"The scallion panklcakes are so amazing! I am not usually a big fan, but I could eat these everyday. The rice-white rice is particulary good. I usually don't eat rice with my food but I will eat this rice plain. Nothing on it. Hot or cold. The brocc is tender yet crisp. The sauces not overly sweet or heavy. "

"I've ordered from here many times before but today's order was not up to par. Pretty tasteless. The 93. General Tso's Chicken chicken was dry, did not have sauce, same with the 118. Shrimp W. Mixed Vegetable. The fries were soggy, and the roast pork egg rolls had no pork or flavor. Very disappointed as I was looking forward to it. The F 1. Fried Half Chicken was old chicken and no skin. Definitely not happy. Wish I could get money back."
