"If you are looking for traditional Indian favourites, this place is for you. We have been ordering delivery from them for years, and have eaten in a few times. Consistent, excellent food. It is the Butter Chicken you have been craving (not called butter chicken on the menu, which is a little annoying, so I ask for it when I call), the Rogan Josh, the Samosas. All excellent. "The Fish Kolivada was a flavorful, spiced but not hot, white fish. you can taste the coriander (so good). There were two green sauces. No idea what they were, but they were complimentary. one was thin and sweet and one was like applesauce but taste like apple and tamarind. whatever it was, it was good. The Peshwari Naan was nice. slightly sweet like lightly brown sugared with raisins. The Cheese Naan taste like fresh garlic and cheese. it was ok. TheOnion Kulcha was good, too. Food is decent but could also be better. Some parts of the chicken/meat are weirdly mushy - maybe it was marinated too long? The rice also is also somewhat mushy and not fluffy. Spice and seasoning is fine (although a little more wouldn't go amiss) and the kulcha seems good as well. The chana masala is sweeter than what I usually encounter - not sure if this is a regional variation or adapted to the typical American palette. "

"A loyal customer of Taj of India for a decade now, this is the only Indian restaurant I'll order from and my go-to when I need a pick me up, when I want to celebrate something, or when I just want to treat myself. The Lamb Roganjosh is so warm and flavorful, and it literally melts in your mouth. Even the rice it comes with is fragrant and tasty on its own.
