A little buttery, a little salty with chicken so tender you can cut it with a plastic fork (which I did). The chicken Chicken Cacciatore was also delicious. The sauce was the best homemade tomato sauce I've ever tasted. A little sweetness to cut the acidity nice big pieces of green peppers, onions, black olives and mushrooms with the same tender chicken. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The shop had a laid-back island-inspired vibe that made it easy to slow down and enjoy the experience instead of feeling rushed. The staff was friendly, patient, and happy to answer questions about the menu.
The drink itself was definitely on the sweeter side, but the macadamia nut and coconut helped keep it balanced. Next time I'd probably add an extra shot of espresso, but overall it was a unique drink that stood out from the usual coffee shop offerings.
