"Possibly the best tasting food I've ever had- not "Indian" food, food. That said the portion size relative to the cost is appallingly small. I got a Kathi roll ($14) and cauliflower pakoras ($12) for a total of $26 before taxes and fees. I've had amazing kathi rolls in NYC and Philly for $6-$7, so I just assumed these would be bigger since they're twice the price and those cities are comparable to the DC food scene. The one I had from Bindaas turned out to be even smaller. I personally don't have a problem paying more for food in a restaurant when there's service being provided and you have the ability to easily order more. But I'm still hungry after spending $26 on a takeout order when I usually don't even spend half as much. "

"The Goat was cooked to perfection, and the variety of rice grain usage was great, the colourful dish is a splash of flavour in your mouth and on your plate. The Lamb Shank Rogan Josh was mildly spiced, allowing the tender notes of the meat to come through, and it was tender and slow cooked just the right way. The Chicken Malai Kabab was moist and full of delicious notes of lemon, the char on it is fantastic, I love dipping it in the Raita, it just gives it a delicious mix of flavours."
