I would ask that Famous 'Dave's management go to East Troy, WI to see the professionals - LD's BBQ and order the same entrees. LD's gives you WAY MORE than your money's worth, it's delicious and tender, and you can smell the smoke on the outside of the restaurant before you ever reach the doors of the restaurant. I spent over $60 dollars at "Famous Dave's" for an extremely mediocre example of the worst so-called barbecue, I've ever had the displeasure of spitting out of my mouth. Ugh. I wouldn't ever advise anyone with a taste for barbecue to even remotely consider Famous Dave's. I feel like it's a complete rip-off, and waste of time, taste, and money. "From the first time I visited Meiji to dine in, I knew this was a more expensive yet higher quality restaurant than the typical Chinese American fare. Do they cut their egg rolls diagonally, so they look bigger when only giving you two? Yes. But they're some of the most delicious Egg Roll I've had. Their Chongqing Chili Chicken could use a bit more Szechuan pepper spice, but is always a solid choice, and this is one of the few restaurants in the area that offers it. My only complaint is that with delivery, you can't specify what meat (or any meat) you get in your side Side Fried Rice, so I always recieve plain fried rice, but even plain it tastes decent. The food is always fresh whether eating in or getting delivery, and we always receive consistently good food from Meiji. Their sushi is great too, though we haven't tried their Hibachi. We usually order Meiji when we want something a little nicer than the usual Chinese takeout."
