The fries, never had crispy fries delivered, they are usually soggy and cold. Not from Zorba. Hot and crispy. Will be ordering again very soon. "

The fries are not supposed to be under the foil, inside the pita; in a chicken gyro sandwich, they go on the side. I don't know if the cook was messing with me, or just didn't care. If this is how they make it, the value is not there - don't expect a side portion. I'd be hesitant to reorder from here, again if this is how they do the fries . The food tasted good though. I would recommend ordering an extra side of fries if you really want fries.... but then the price is hardly worth it with an add like that. Inconsistency and little things like this bring a good business down a notch for no good reason. If you say fries, then give more than 5 fries. "I have no idea why this place has such high reviews. The food arrived cold, the mixed grill looks like leftovers taken from other dishes rather than a fresh mixed grill $30? (the lamb chop didn't even have the bone in) and the tabouleh had bitter, badly chopped parsley. The hummus was good but was tiny and none of the dishes came with pita. The one star is for the hummus otherwise this would be zero stars. Souvlakeria, Pita on Essex and chutzpah kitchen also in the area are much better options. Even the barebones Beyond Pita in Montclair is better."

"I've always been a fan of the hummus here. Ordered the Baba ghanouj for the first time today, and I'm now regretting not trying it sooner. The chicken shawarma platter was huge and so flavorful- enough to feed 2-3 people. The Turkiya is so fresh and is perfect with the chicken. The pita is fluffy- nothing like the flat, dry stuff you'll find at a supermarket. The quality of the food is amazing. "

"We always order from Al Basha and the service and food are always great. Hoever, today we were disappointed with both. Our pick up was for 3:18pm and we waited an additional 45 minutes for out order. The staff was not helpful when we checked in on our order and were very dismissive every time we asked. The tomato and onion salad was mushy as if it was a few days old and the 4 person platter lacked protein and was mostly fries. Lastly, we asked for garlic yogurt and the employee wasn't too kind when handining them to me. "

"I am originally from Turkey and very picky about what is marketed as Turkish food around here (even in Patterson and Clifton known as little Istanbul). This restaurant is out of this world. The food reminds me of the best of the best in Turkey. We ordered the package for two which came with so much food including salad, four cold one hot (the liver) appetizers, mixed grill (generous sampling of all they have to offer and the Adana, döner and the lamb shish kebab so tasty). I couldnt get to the chicken fast enough and lost it to my son who also inhaled the eggplant (he surprised even himself with that actually). There is dessert which I was too full to taste. Last but not least the still warm heavenly bread which I forgot to include in the picture. I don't know how I missed this place before but I will make up for it. "
