The food arrived in a DIY assembly kind of way, which led to a weird experience of some parts of the Tonkotsu Ramen being hot-ish, while some were actually cold. The flavor profile was alright, but nothing that left me wanting more. As for the Cheesecake, I opted for the matcha variant. Genuinely disappointed in how extremely minuscule the portion was for the cost. There was more ice cream than cheesecake, and the ice cream was essential to providing moisture as the cheesecake was extremely dry and dense. Those tiny bites were very hard to process. Might be better fresh in-haus, but this experience does not compel me to try it again. "

"I'm going to try to be really kind here. I'm sure this restaurant is great if you know what you're ordering (as in, having tried it before). Vinaigrette Beef Tongue was not what I was expecting. It was beyond awful! In appearance and taste. You receive 8 pieces of tongue total. Be prepared; it LOOKS exactly like tongue in appearance (grooves , veins, etc) and although drenched in too much in olive oil it didn't take the freezer burn taste away. The included house bread with the Vinaigrette Beef Tongue appetizer was excellent. I definitely could have used a whole dozen of those! "We keep ordering. I keep hoping. Today, we got two forks and two napkins for three entrees and an appetizer. We got two tiny pieces of bread for 4 people, which is an improvement! They usually send none, even when I call and request it. Even when I pay for an item like a drink and send a note or call to say that I don't want the drink, I want to pay for bread. The pasta salad that has been on their menu for as long as I can remember is now ordered "by the item" so all of the vegetables that are listed in the description of the item are charged separately. If you get everything you are supposed to get, it takes a $12 item to over $20. I've shared this with the restaurant multiple times. Food is good, as we expect.
