"This was the first time we had ordered from FUNKY MOMO of East Vic Park WA. The Steamed Momo were lovely, protein-dense dumplings and of good value. One serve is 12 to 14 dumplings for $14.00. We chose Chicken, which had a good hit of ginger, and Pork, which had chives or another Asian green veg mixed in. The 3rd option is Lamb, which costs $2 more per serve. With our own side salads, we definitely had enough for dinner. We would rate the Steamed Momo 5/5 = 100% ;-D. The MOMO is also available deep-fried or baked. We also ordered the Sadeko Wai Wai Nepalese dry noodle Salad as a side dish. But it was way too spicy for my husband! Steam Char Siew Bao was yum, noodles in Pan Mian Soup were good. but the Kl Wanton Mee had a tiny amount of mince meat, nothing like the bbq meat in the photo. mostly just bland, oily noodle, half a tiny bokchoy and a sprinkle of mince, and very little flavour, barely any sauce, just oil. meatballs in the Pan Mian Soup were dry and crumbly, and they only provided enough soup to half cover the ingredients. it was not awful food but definitely didn't seem worth the hype."

"Fortune Five is by far my most favourite restaurant. I only tried their pork and century egg porridge and seafood porridge for the first time about 2 years ago and their chicken feet and Steamed pork ribs and omg they are sooo tasty! I would have gone a lifetime with never knowing how good those dishes are (especiall chicken feet which i would have balked at when i was younger) if it hadnt been for my lovely Philipino future daughter in law! I thought I'd try those dishes at quite a few other restaurants but NO-ONE comes even remotely close to those particular dishes in taste and value for money!! I usually try one other dish on their menu and it's ALL ALWAYS consistently good! I now order enough to freeze and defrost to eat every night of the week and rarely have something different. When I run out I order again and AGAIN IT'S ALL SOOOO GOOD!!! I can't thank you enough!"

But, my last 4 orders have been pretty mediocre (the time before last there was I piece of squid and one prawn in my usual seafood porridge... I tried one last time tonight in the hope it was better but the prices had gone up more and there was meagre seafood in the "combination Special Combination Seafood Porridge"... The $5.00 rice was equivalent to a half of cup of uncooked rice, so if you are feeding more than one person I recommend ordering extra or cooking your own at that price. The spring rolls and curry puffs were nice, so I guess that is a positive. "
